IYNF is an international youth umbrella organization that brings together Young Naturefriends and their organizations across Europe. It currently has 18 member and 8 partner organizations with more than 120.000 young members organized in over a thousand local groups.

The core role of IYNF is to facilitate the cooperation between member and partner organizations and individual members by creating links, organizing meetings, providing direct support and promoting nature-friendly activities all over Europe.

The EVS project will be implemented in Prague, Czech Republic and will last 12 months. The expected starting date is February 2015.

We are aiming to apply for the project within the Erasmus+ programme for the deadline scheduled for 30th of April 2014.

What can you expect from the EVS project at IYNF?

  • As a volunteer you work 30-35 hours a week in the IYNF international office located in the center of Prague
  • You have a chance to assist with variety of tasks, your working experience is adjusted to your needs and interests – for example you can contribute by preparing visual materials, writing articles and maintaining social media, organizing educational activities or workshops, supporting the communication with various organizational stakeholders and bringing your ideas for projects
  • You are given the opportunity and space to learn and develop desired skills
  • You gain knowledge and experience from the international NGO field
  • You have a chance to develop your own local project and you are introduced to various opportunities for volunteering and youth work in Prague
  • You have an opportunity to travel to international IYNF activities in Europe
  • You take part in a Czech language course and you learn about the Czech culture

Applications without the video will not be considered.

Requirements:

  • Age between 17 and 30 years old (at the time of the start of the project in February 2015)
  • Ability to communicate in English
  • Commitment to live and volunteer in Prague for 12 months
  • You need to have a sending organization to apply for this vacancy. The applications without a sending organization cannot be considered.
