Then Pact for Impact I: Communication & Action might be just the right training for you!     

You will: 

  • Dive into the heart of volunteering and youth engagement, exploring what drives people to act and how you can inspire others. 
  • Get to know techniques in effective communication to overcome prejudice, fight discrimination, and tackle misinformation. 
  • Develop strategies for acting and building arguments that matter.

This activity will lay the groundwork for a year-long mission of soft skills development. 

Together, we’ll begin creating set of argumentation cards—practical tools to help you confidently engage in debates and discussions on issues that matter most. And this is just the beginning! This is your chance to step into the conversation, develop your leadership skills, and make your impact feasible.  

  • Educational Center Oivanki, Kuusamo, Finland (be prepared it can get down to –20 degrees)! 
  • February 10th till 15th (please plan to travel on these dates depending on your location:  8th–17th). 
  • It is a remote location, it will take you two to three days to get there depending on where you are from!
  • 16–30 years (limited spots for people over 30)
  • Motivated young people, youth leaders and youth workers involved in youth organisations, civil society, or political activism who are ready to deepen their skills and make a difference. 
  • good level of English language is required to follow this training. 
  • Participation fee: 50€ for members and 75€-100€ for non-members (please contact us if you have economic constraints),
  • Food (vegetarian) and accommodation is included. 
  • Travel costs will be reimbursed and to be eligible for reimbursement you must attend 100% of the training course!!

One of the goals of IYNF is to reduce the ecological impact of mobilities, therefore participants will be required to use green means of travel (train, bus, etc..), which means you should consider the need for travel days before applying. Flying will only be allowed from remote destinations where no sustainable means of transportation are available and only if approved by IYNF.
