IYNF is looking for a Project Manager!

IYNF is an international youth organisation that gathers more than 30 member and partner organisations. The core role of IYNF is to facilitate the cooperation between its members and partners by creating links, organising meetings, providing direct support and promoting nature-friendly activities all over Europe and beyond. IYNF is providing capacity building and networking activities for the benefit of its members and partners. IYNF’s main field of activity is non-formal education to support the values of respect, equality, solidarity, sustainability, climate justice and love and care for nature.

We are currently looking for an inspiring, motivated and responsible person to add to our international team of staff and volunteers.

The Project Manager is a member of the Secretariat working full-time in the international office seated in Prague. The Secretariat has three full-time staff members, two long-term ESC volunteers and external supporters. 

The Project Manager is mainly responsible for the holistic administrative management and organisational implementation of international (educational) projects in the frame of Erasmus+ and European Youth Foundation. They are assisting with the organization of various (online) networking activities and they are the main coordinator of the European Solidarity Corps volunteers.

Requirements for the position

  • EU working permit
  • Ideally two years of working or volunteering experience in the NGO field
  • Experience in at least one of the fields of IYNF activity: (international) youth work, network coordination, project management 
  • Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, travel for meetings abroad (about 3-4 times per year for a week) and occasionally work on weekends
  • Experience with managing grant applications is a high asset (EU, EYF of CoE or other)
  • Fluent in English, working knowledge of Czech is an advantage but not essential
  • Compliance with the main values of IYNF
  • Naturefriends affiliation is an asset, but it is not required
  • Knowledge about non-formal education is an asset
  • Regular physical presence in the IYNF Secretariat in Prague

Responsibilities

  • Implementing international projects according to the organisational and funders standards
  • Administrative support in reporting 
  • Reliable and conscientious support with administrative tasks
  • Coordination of European Solidarity Corps volunteers
  • Strengthening our local network structures by coordinating regular communication and meetings  

Conditions proposed

  • The working contract is limited for one year with the possibility of prolongation
  • Salary from 45.000 CZK depending on experience
  • Support for further professional training
  • 20% remote work possibility 
  • 5 weeks of paid holidays
