@decolonizingspaces is another of the campaigns that was presented during the training “Pact for Impact I: Communication & Action”, in Finland.

Based on a real project carried out by one of the participants, it aims to give voice to non-European people living in Europe and by collecting their stories of (non-)inclusion. At the same time, the purpose is to make these voices reach a wider audience throughout the continent to raise awareness of the different kinds of barriers that people very often experience when they move to Europe.

By listening to these voices, the campaign challenges Europe’s widespread belief and self-portrait as a uniquely progressive and inclusive space, scrutinising traces of its colonial legacy still surviving nowadays.
