Since 2008, every year, at the end of March, Belgrade  becomes dark for one hour, from the National theatre  and National museum to the Parliament and Main  square.  World Wildlife Fund includes Belgrade  among the cities around the world that wants to warn  about climate changes problems.

Earth Hour was celebrated this year in a unique way  and it was more interesting because of the “exhibition  in the dark”, with photographs showing the effects of  climate changes. Light on the exhibition was made by  visitors who were pedaling on a bicycle very fast!  There was also a performance of the oldest children’s  choir in Serbia.

The atmosphere was lovely, and when the lights went  out, we had feeling that we were, in that moment, part  of the world and doing something good for all of us.  The traditional shape of the number 60 made from the  candles was also there!

We want to take care about planet, and people who  were there have shown it. Not just for one day, but this  day can help us to send an important message and to  let people join in achieving our goal.
