IYNF is searching for editor prep-team willing to contribute to our newest online publication “Green toolbox”, which will compile sustainable practices of project and office management.
Green Toolbox aims to foster active engagement of European youth organizations in running sustainable organizations and youth activities; encouraging and inspiring various sector organizations to apply sustainable working practices in their daily work and within their project and office management.
As the sustainability is a combination and synergy of social justice, ecological health and economical vitality, IYNF welcomes youth organizations to extend their understanding of sustainability, making them aware on which fields they already are representing good practices of sustainability and on which fields they are capable to increase their sustainability index.
The publication will compile practices of social, economical , cultural and environmental sustainability. It will respond to the questions ranging from -how we can choose the most environmentally friendly office supplies to most socially responsible banking for our organization. What office and project management practices can do the most good and least harm for people, nature, animals. How do we ensure long term impact of our actions and inspire others to commit to sustainable behaviors?
Work plan for the publication:
– Preparatory meeting in Latvia, beginning of June
– Preparation of the toolbox, June- September
– Second planning meeting in Czech Republic, September
– Evaluation and distribution of the toolbox.
